Ohh I was so in love with my mother. We were very close. I lost her at 9 years old but she was my best friend even then. I always felt safe with her. She was great at making time for family and friends. She was a smart, wise, and loving woman. I miss her so much everyday especially special days and moments I have with my girls. She would have spoiled them rotten.
“ I believe that in my family and in my culture being a wife and mother is the goal. Being raised to become great at those things. I don’t plan on letting my girls think that’s what they need so they feel complete. There isn’t a checklist, there is no timeline. Strong independent woman that love Jesus don’t need to be used just as helpmates and mothers.” Erica
What was your proudest moment as a parent? It’s wherever I see my girls care for each other, like really care when their sister is sad or not feeling their best. The language used, the hugs , and advocating for each other.
Motherhood is.....
the most rewarding, challenging, and longest season of life. My life has never been the same after these young ladies entered it. It’s an honor to be a mother to girls picked just for me and me for them. The Lord will teach us so much in our lifetimes.
